Looking Fabulous on the Job!

About fifty years ago I was hit by an automobile traveling about 50 miles per hour.  Needless to say, I ended up in the hospital for a long time, one month to be exact.  I still have pretty vivid memories of that time.  Everything was white, the walls, the hospital gowns and the doctors' and  nurses' clothes.  I am certain, thinking back, that those clothes were not always the most comfortable either.  Now I enter a hospital and see all kinds of colors and patterns of clothes that fit extremely well.  It almost looks as though those scrubs were tailored to fit.  This would certainly have made life a little less dull for a bed fast boy of eleven.  A variety of these great looking scrubs may be found at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/ http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/
If you are looking for a uniform in the medical field, then Blue Sky scrubs is a great place to go.  With a variety of different styles, colors and patterns, Blue Sky scrubs can give you a professional look with comfort and style. Shopping at Blue Sky scrubs will also allow you to buy you scrubs a a very reasonable price, providing excellent value for your dollar.  Now you can look great and be comfortable without feeling guilty about the amount of money you had to spend.

Discovering Chile

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Sri Lanka. While visiting Sri Lanka, I had such a wonderful time.  I was struck by the contrast between the Sri Lanka people and American people.  Although they had very little, these people were happy.  The food there was so different, very spicy but extremely tasty.  Having taught geography for a while, I was very interested in other cultures.  Sri Lanka, a land rich in culture, provided me with so many new experiences that I could not begin to describe them all.  Since that time, I have been bitten by the "travel bug."   Whenever I see opportunities to travel abroad, the urge to begin a new journey becomes an obsession.

Not long ago I stumbled upon Chile tours that looked really interesting.  A tourist can visit areas not often toured and can discover the beauty and personality of this great land.  To enjoy a great cruise, one need only board a ferry and visit one of several port cities of Chile.  Along the route, one may see whales, dolphins and sea birds of many types.  A courteous crew will ensure that your trip is pleasant and eventful, providing many activities to fill down time.  After disembarking from the ferry, one may wish to continue his tour by car to  explore the interior of Chile and get to know the Chilean people better.  Car rentals are available to allow one to tour at his own pace and view all he wishes to see. This land with its mysterious, forbidding mountains and interesting fauna and flowers beckons the adventurous in spirit.

Cheap Airport Parking

One of the truly aggravating aspects of flying, besides the long waits for airport security checks, has been that of parking.  Unless one parks a half mile from the terminal at the cheaper long term parking prices which still are not that reasonable, he must pay the exorbitant rates for parking close to the terminal.  However, if one is getting a flight out of Miami, Miami International Airport provides a number of inexpensive choices for long term parking.  Miami airport parking is plentiful, convenient and reasonable.

One highly recommended option is the long term parking at any of the airport hotels.  It is not necessary for an individual to stay at the hotel to use the parking lot.  Free shuttle service is available to and from the terminals, and parking fees are very reasonable.  Reservations will ensure one's parking space ahead of time, avoiding a last minute search for parking.  The wait for the shuttle service is typically five to ten minutes, allowing one to avoid long waits.  Both indoor and outdoor parking lots are available.  Those exorbitant fees for parking are now a thing of the past at the Miami Airport.

Visit Historic Williamsburg

Make it a great family Christmas outing this December by visiting historic Williamsburg while visiting one of the best indoor water parks in Virginia.  Take the kids to enjoy the indoor water park at Great Wolf Lodge and then enjoy  a fantastic time in Colonial Williamsburg on the side.  Plan for an extended stay as the water park alone will keep your children entertained, and there are many more attractions for children of all ages there.  Some of these include the MagiQuest for the younger children while the teens will definitely enjoy spending time in the Northern Lights Arcade where they can play all types of games.  For the very young children there is a story time that they will enjoy before retiring for the night.

Adults can enjoy the luxury of a spa while their children are enjoying their time in a spa just for children.  A variety of food is available from a bar and grill to a pizza shop to a snack bar---again something for everyone.  Spacious and attractive suites are available to make your stay extremely comfortable.  Special events for the month of December will add to the excitement as your children will be able to visit with Santa Clause or enjoy indoor snow in the Grand Lobby.  With all of this at the resort, it will be difficult to find time to take in events in historic Williamsburg; however, that would simply make your vacation complete.

Adventure in Patagonia

For anyone having a spirit of adventure, a fantastic experience is waiting in the form of a cruise to Patagonia and around Cape Horn.  An area that has drawn the attention of National Geographic expeditions, Patagonia offers a wide variety of experiences for the venturesome.  The wild, untamed beauty of this region combined with the activities it offers will leave one breathless.  From the icy glaciers to areas with exotic flowers, one can experience it all during this cruise.  Wildlife, including seals, sea lions, cormorants, penguins and southern dolphins, abounds in this area and may be observed on this expedition.  When people visit Patagonia, they will discover an experience not to be forgotten.

One can enjoy a number of famous sights including the Strait of Magellan, Ainsworth Bay, and Cape Horn among others during the cruise.  Activities which will allow members of the cruise to observe nature up close are the hikes in which they will participate.  This is an informative cruise with the knowledge of scientific experts imparted along the way.  Visitors will learn about some of the more famous names in history connected with this region such as Charles Darwin, Sir Francis Drake and Ferdinand Magellan among others.
