Skywatch Friday11

This was one of the nicer days in many a day this June. We were in Tinnicum, Maryland, for a craft fair and strawberry festival. The day was mostly sunny but not too hot which was a blessing. We have had an inordinate amount of rain over the last six weeks. Six weeks ago our softball season started, and we have been rained out for five of the six weeks. Unfortunately, though the skies were beautiful, people were not spending at the craft fair, probably due to the tight economy. Still it was a nice day out for the family. the boys got to play for as long as they wished in the Moon Bounce and then found a number of other ways to amuse themselves. My wife just enjoyed getting away from home for a little bit. For more sky photos visit Skywatch Friday.

  1. I would imagine the rain has not been all that good for growing strawberries since they need some sun, too. Looks like you had an enjoyable day.

  2. Marvelous shots! Love the plane in the sky. Can empathize with all the rain, that's not unusual here in Seattle, although it has been an unusually dry spring.

    Have a great weekend!

  4. Your skies look a lot like the ones I see here in So Cal and I wish you could send some of your rain this way ... seriously. I shared COLORFUL skies at Sacred Ruminations and more usual neighborhood skies at Happily Retired Gal this week ;--)
    Hugs and blessings,
