A beautiful spring day at the National harbor provided us with these scenes. It was a beautiful, warm day in which to enjoy a stroll around the harbor grounds. For more scenic photos, visit Scenic Sunday.

These photos were taken as we were crossing the Bay Bridge on Route 50 in Maryland. I must give credit to my wife for taking these beautiful shots as I was driving at the time. I never cease to marvel as we cross the bay over the beauty of God's creation and the ingenuity of man's engineering accomplishments. this is truly a long span for a bridge to cover. The sights of spring are finally truly here...all around us. After my son's soccer game today, I just spent some time admiring the new blooms all around us here. New life is evident everywhere. This time of year always reminds me of the new life we have in Christ. The first photo is of my boys tumbling down a rather steep bank at our home. For more scenic photos, visit Scenic Sunday.

This sky seemed like a precursor to some pretty ugly weather; however, in a relatively short period of time, we were driving directly into a gorgeous sunset. It was a great ending to a short but enjoyable vacation trip to Lancaster, PA. This occurred on our way home on state route 301 in Maryland approaching the Bay Bridge. See other beautiful skies at Skywatch Friday.

These photos came from the Cherry Blossom Festival 2009 in Washington, D.c. We had a great day strolling around the tidal basin and driving around to see the sights. These flowering trees provide great entertainment for masses of people touring the D.C. area. Included here are photos of the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. The Cherry Blossom Festival 2009 turned out beautifully this year. The trees were gorgeous, and the day could not have been nicer. It was great exercise walking around the tidal basin just admiring the beauty around us. By the time we finished, we were all a bit tired. As a matter of fact, my youngest son fell asleep while riding on my shoulders. For more interesting water shots, visit Watery Wednesday.
