Watery Wednesday 3

Taken at Taquahmenon Falls on the Upper peninsula these photos show the effect of the tannic acid from the trees lining the shore of the Taquahmenon River. A beautiful spot to get away from the rat race, Taquahmenon Falls provides solitude and a beauty that is hard to match. The water is amber in color, yet it does not look dirty. This is a great place to spend a few summer days. To see more great photos visit Watery Wednesday.

  6. Very lovely WW. It looks like a great place to hang out at. I wonder if you ever go there in the wintertime. That waterfall looks like it's moving pretty swiftly and powerfully. Enjoy the day.
